Childcare Provider/Caregiver - Casual, Part- time

Childcare Provider is responsible for caring for children while their parents are in trainings/meetings in the same building.

Experience with childcare and general knowledge of child development and age appropriate expectations.
Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills usually acquired in high school or equivalent.
Creativity and patience, ability to work with children and youth who may have special needs, including emotional and behavioral and maybe physical.

The ability to manage and de-escalate situations where a child may become upset. The ability and capacity to manage emotions under stressful child care situations.
Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with other CSSW staff, and problem solve child behavioral situations.

High School graduate or Certificate of
General Educational Development
(GED) or High School EquivalencyDiploma (HSED).

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills usually
acquired in high school or equivalent
required.
